As Yemen's National Dialogue Conference progresses, women are still fighting for their share of participation. Currently, the discussion over the
closed proportional list system as Yemen's electoral system for the next phase has began and the already set %30 quota for women is threatened to be less after religious political party figures intervened. The majority of the NDC's female members protested and made a simi-short-strike to reclaim their right - the %30 quota in all the current and coming political processes.

made it after an internal voting been made and over %97 of the members voted in favor of the %30 quota.
