Let Our Voices Be Heard... Children's Parliament in Yemen

This is the recent clip made by the Children’s Parliament in Yemen funded by Save the Children organization. The the Children’s Parliament has existed since 2000 and I came to know about them during my first months working as a journalist since 2009. I was so lucky that I have went to their office several times in Sana'a, and I even was luckier when I attended few of the children's sessions at the parliament.

I was fascinated when I listened to how they were discussing their issues with adult MPs. I felt so proud of them and realized that the future was bright since Yemen have such wonderful young people. Today, I see this clip and my realization gets deeper and stronger. The future is really bright!
